Our coverage explains public documents about Ukraine’s recovery. This directory helps you find the original information and understand how we use it. Checked 15 October 2026.
Assessments and recovery programmes
- Joint Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment: RDNA5
- World Bank, Government of Ukraine, European Commission and United Nations. The February 2026 release assesses impacts through 31 December 2025. Its reconstruction needs are estimates, not funds received.
- UNDP Ukraine
- Programme descriptions and published updates on local recovery, public services and debris management. Check each project’s dates, scope and reported results.
- The EU’s Ukraine Facility
- Council of the European Union explanation of the financing framework and its conditions. A framework’s budget is different from money paid to a particular project.
Project information and procurement
- DREAM
- Ukraine’s public investment and reconstruction information platform. Check the status, responsible institution and dated project records; a listed proposal does not itself prove financing or completion.
- Prozorro
- Ukraine’s public procurement system. Tender notices, awards and contract documents can help follow public procurement. An awarded contract does not establish that construction has finished.
Industry, jobs and community recovery
The RDNA5 overview explains why businesses, employment and access to finance matter alongside physical reconstruction. UNDP’s area-based recovery portfolio sets out a community-level approach. These are starting points for understanding recovery plans, not a list of vacancies or investment recommendations.
How we prepare and update coverage
- We use primary public reports and official programme or project records wherever possible. Articles link the documents supporting factual claims.
- We distinguish damage, economic losses and future needs. Funding commitments, disbursements, procurement and operational results are reported separately.
- We give publication dates and data cut-offs. A document’s newest publication date does not make every underlying figure current.
- We identify illustrative diagrams and historical photographs. Neither is evidence of a completed project unless the accompanying source establishes that result.
- We update the article’s visible date when its substance changes. Corrections should identify the affected claim and its supporting source.
For a suspected error, compare the relevant article with its linked original and our latest published revision. We do not currently offer a submission form or a public correction inbox. This publication does not process housing, funding or aid applications.
